The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK has placed portions of the tri-state under a SLIGHT RISK for severe weather this afternoon. The SLIGHT RISK extends into southern IL, far western KY, and the south western tip of IN. Latest models continue to indicate the possibility of a few sct’d showers after the lunch time hour around i-64 with sct’d showers possible in the metro by early afternoon around 2PM CDT. A stronger line of showers should approach the area after the 4PM time frame and into the metro after 5PM. If need the latest watches and warning will be posted on our social media streams.
